Recently I shared twenty-five websites to get free stock photos for personal and commercial use. I know how frustrating it can be to find free resources for your blog, especially if you just started and simply don’t have the funds or the skills to create your contents. For this post, I am sharing five free resources to use for your blog or business.

Grammarly: This is a huge thing for me. Even though I did my higher education in the United States, English is my third language and it can be somehow challenging to find or write a specific word.  Grammarly is a spelling and grammar software and has been a great help even back in college.

Mailerlite: My mentor always tells me that social media does not belong to you; meaning you have to build an email list in order to communicate with your audience. I previously had MailChimp, but had some issues with my email being delivered. I contacted support, try to fix the problem with no luck; since I am not a tech-savvy, I just went ahead and try Mailerlite. It is free up to 1000 subscribers.

Canva: Was my very first free resource to use for my blog. In my opinion, everyone can use Canva. It is very user-friendly especially if you don’t have a graphic design background.  I had a few issues where the website decided to not save my last activity, then I would have to start all over. Canva has pretty much all the social media formats you can use; from Pinterest, Facebook to Instagram or ebook. 9 out of 10, it is amazing!!! I have created tons of beautiful sale flyers, ebooks as well as social media post in Canva.

Dropbox or Google Drive: I use both of these e-storage platforms. I used them mostly to store large files, such as pdf, photos, and designs for my blog . They both have a free plan, but if you are running out of space, you may want to upgrade to the paid version.

Linktree: This is like a one stop shop. it is a platform that let you put your site, shop, and blog in just one spot. Pro: it helps your Instagram followers to navigate through all your sites. Cons: People don’t like searching for things and you may not get any traffic to a specific post.

Until next time.
