Throwback Thursday: Last Minute Christmas Holiday Outfit
I’m not a fashionista of any kind; however, I can put two pieces of clothes together. I absolutely love scrolling through some of my favorite online stores because I hate going to the mall; the same way you probably hate online shopping. I usually don’t shop that often, unless I really need it or want to gift myself. As my mother always says: ” If you work hard, you gotta pay yourself”. If I walk into a store, I’m going to pick just that outfit I have in mind or something similar to what I need and that was the case for this outfit.
Christmas outfit can be really tricky, but emerald green, gold, black, red and burgundy are really great colors to wear. You can definitely add a statement necklace like the one I have on, just to add glitzy details to your look and it really doesn’t have to be expensive. You can find some online or at your local store for less than $20. Click this link for the necklace.

What I liked about this outfit is the fact that It was not too much, too little or too casual. I found the skirt and the shoes at a local Cititrend store on sale for $14 each. Which I think was a great match because the bright and plain red color shoes actually look genuinely good with the mixed or printed skirt. I also found the top at a local store for $19 which I absolutely love. The ruffle, the visual interest; I like everything about it. Remember when it comes to Chrismas outfit, jewels, sparkles, and sequins are too appropriate. So, adding a statement piece of jewelry will give you such a bolder appearance.
